You are welcome to join us on this moorland circuit in the beautiful area of Calderdale southwest of Todmorden. Good paths and bridleways to take us to the remote steep sided wooded valley with a tumbling stream and waterfalls (Gorpley Clough).
The walk commences from Todmorden Train Station at 10.10am on arrival of the 9.18 Manchester Victoria train from Leeds.
We expect to finish there by 3.30pm.
This is a CHA 'B' walk generally moderate in nature but with several short steep climbs and descents. Just under 9.5 miles in length and approx 1500 feet of ascent.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the expected weather conditions and wear walking boots or walking shoes.
There is no charge to attend the first three CHA walks, but to attend further walks we request that you join our club for an annual membership of only £6.00.
