Todmorden to Hebden Bridge via Stoodley Pike

Details
Escape the city and join us on a walk through lovely rugged landscape of Calderdale.
Meet at Todmorden station, which runs direct from Leeds and several other stations in West Yorkshire. We will walk up the valley side to Gaddings Dam and then on to Stoodley Pike, a well-known monument with far-reaching views to Lancashire and God's own country - Yorkshire! We will then meander down to Hebden Bridge, the jewel in Calderdale's crown and allegedly one of the top 5 cool towns in the world.
The walk will be 6-7 miles, only moderate fitness required. Bring something in case it rains. The walk will go ahead regardless of turnout and the weather, so don't let rain put you off, I guarantee it'll be worth it :)
Plenty of places for food and drink in both Tod and Hebden. If there is demand for it, we can look at booking a table somewhere. There is a great Vegan restaurant, among others. But there are casual eateries too.
If you're getting the train, get a return to Todmorden and leave for home from Hebden Bridge (next stop on the line). If you're driving, you could park in Hebden or Tod (and get the train to meet point or back to car).
Any questions, please ask :)
