Place: Parking area just off the main B6265 road in Rylstone Village just before the bend as you are exiting the village.

Ride Details: We start from Rylstone and head for the track that leads up the Fell Side which is steep and rocky in places and takes us on to Barden Moor we head across the moor on a good single track path we have to navigate a couple of streams before we pick up the main track with a long fast downhill section which takes us to Halton Heights where we take the grassy track leading through Weston Woods to Bolton Abbey.
We will stop for lunch at Bolton Abbey, there is Tea on the Green cafe which is normally open but please bring your own food just in case.
After the lunch stop we head back up a quiet farm road which takes us to the small village of Halton East from here we take we take a grassy single track back up to Halton Heights. We pick up the main track across the Moor again with a long steady climb finishing with a superb downhill section back to Rylstone. Hoping for a decent day to get the full value of the long magnificent views you get on this ride.
