Time: Meet from 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
Place: Gargrave Railway Station Car Park, just over the railway bridge on the right it's free to park in here.
The route consists mainly of bridleways, moorland tracks and small or quiet roads. The route consists of two big climbs with two long flowing descent's.
We start at the railway station in gargrave heading for Bell Busk,Airton, Carlton up to wetts top with Good views. The track now descend's to Winterburn resovoir and Hetton we then pass over the flashy beck to Rylstone, to start our 2nd climb over Barden moor. We then descend to Hilton East where we have a chance to stop at Billy bobs ice cream farm. before returning to Embsay heading for the Leeds Liverpool canal and Gargrave . approx height gain 2900ft.

Distance: 28 miles (approx.) but can be cut short if required.
Estimated Duration; 4 to 5 hours (including stops).
Suitable For: Mountain bikes only.
Physical Difficulty: RED (Difficult) - 28 miles and >2900ft of total ascent, so a very good level of fitness is required.
Technical Difficulty: RED (Difficult) - some rocky descents and technical sections.
Recommended: Spare Tube, Tools, Pump, Food, Energy Bars, Water.
It would pay to bring a light lunch as I can't guarantee places are open for business.
