Important message to all members

Dear Member

Leeds Cycling Group will not be renewing its membership with MeetUp when the fees are next due in early December. The reason for this is the large increase in the fees charged by MeetUp, and their policy of charging for features which used to be free.

So, Leeds Cycling will be using Facebook as a platform to run our group. Whilst it is probably not as good as our current platform, at least the organisers and ride leaders will not have the hassle of collecting and raising the fees.

All our existing members are invited to join us on Facebook, which we will be using exclusively from 1st December 2025. To do this you must have an account with Facebook, though this does not commit you to making any public postings. If you are not already a member of Facebook, you will have to set up a free account with them at www.facebook.com .

Once on Facebook, click on Groups, search for Leeds Cycling, then ask to join. However, do be aware there are other groups with similar names, but we have our familiar photo page set up.
