Shrouded Sanctuary | Online D&D 5e One Shot | Beginner Friendly

A powerful relic has been located in the Shrouded Sanctuary, a forgotten temple on an island in the middle of a vast and tempestuous ocean.

You have been recruited by a mysterious Halfling named Reston to explore the temple and recover the relic, but there is a small catch: the Octavian Church, the sinister theocracy that rules the world, have deemed the site heretical and intend to destroy it using a magical weapon known as an Emberfall within the next few hours...

Shrouded Sanctuary is a Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition One Shot full of exploration, combat, plenty of opportunities for roleplay and an ever-ticking clock...

The game is best suited towards relative beginners who are already familiar with the rules, comfortable with the roleplay elements of the game and have one or two sessions under their belt.

I'll be running this game online through Roll20 and Discord, so please make sure you have accounts and are able to access both platforms ahead of the session.

The one-shot is designed for a party of 5 3rd-level characters, these will all be pre-generated with character sheets and brief backstories provided ahead of the session so you can choose who you would prefer to play.
