For the beginner games, there will be a full rules explanation, but if you've watched The Traitors, or played other social deduction games, like Werewolf or Town of Salem, it will work in a similar way.

Our first game usually begins around 18:00, so arrive by then if you want to make sure you're counted in, but there are options to join in part way through a game if you arrive later.

If this is your first time attending, welcome! Here is a quick rundown on what to expect when you arrive.

We let attendees organise themselves into groups, you are free to join and mix with others as you’d like throughout the event. Also don’t be afraid to ask others if you can join in with a game, as usually people are more than happy to let you join in, if there is space.

We have a selection of board games, card games and other casual party games to offer, but you’re also free to bring your own games to play if you’d prefer, or just fancy playing something different. There should be plenty to go around.

Welcome to our fortnightly Blood on the Clocktower event!

We usually have 3 simultaneous games going: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

For the beginner games, there will be a full rules explanation, but if you've played other social deduction games, like Werewolf or Town of Salem, it will work in a similar way. This games will be the Trouble Brewing script, which is the introductory one. You can find videos on Youtube if you want to see how it works, just search for Trouble Brewing.

For the intermediate games we often play one of the more advanced base scripts, either Bad Moon Rising or Sects and Violets, but some custom scripts can also be included in the mix. These have some extra mechanics compared to Trouble Brewing, so an explanation of what to look out for will be included.

For the advanced players, anything goes! We do still play some of the base scripts, but this game will include more custom scripts, from the Carousel and from players. There will be a lot more going on in these games compared to the intermediate games, but rules clarifications will still be available.

We're organizing a monthly event at Chance & Counters, it's £5 for unlimited gaming all evening (paid when you leave to the venue)
