Pro wrestling classes for the LGBTQIA+ community!

If you've ever wanted to dress up in a fancy costume, develop an over-the-top character and slam people then now is your chance!

Our classes are 100% beginner-friendly and suitable for all bodies and abilities. We are aiming to provide a fun, community-focused environment for queer people in and around Leeds, so there's no toxic masculinity, competition or pushing people to do more than they're comfortable with. Learn a new skill, meet some cool queers and enjoy yourself!

All you need to bring is water. Please wear suitable athletic clothes, and avoid anything that could catch on someone else's skin such as zips, buckles, extensive jewellery etc.

Please include your social media handles (Instagram preferred) in the email - we are a private group and we need to vet members so we don't let in anyone who could harm us, as we've been targeted by terfs and far-right groups in the past.

Our Wednesday sessions have a few planned activities as well as match play. The structure is usually: warm up, introductions (we stand in a circle and share names and pronouns - optional), netball activities and finishing with game play.

• Open to the LGBTQ+ community (you can bring along an emotional support cishet if needed - we won't be policing identity of those who join us - we only ask that everyone adheres to our Values and Culture Agreement which can provided on contact).

The Angels of Freedom and the Leeds United Foundation have joined forces to bring you free weekly football fitness classes! And thanks to additional funding from Sported we’ve been able to increase sessions to TWO HOURS, whilst continuing to be offered FREE of cost to attendees.

Here's what you need to know:

• Everyone is invited to join, regardless of skill level or experience. If you're over 18 and new to the game, fret not, as you're more than welcome to come along.

• Led by LUFC enabled coaches, these sessions are all about teamwork, getting fit, and having fun. There's no competition, just a bunch of friendly folks working up a sweat on the pitch.

• No need to book in advance, just rock up on the day. But do make sure to wear comfy clothes that suit the weather, plus either trainers or football boots.

And, of course, don't forget your water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout the session.
