Abstract:
45 minutes is not much time, so this will be a whistle stop, level 100 tour of Azure Networking. We’ll cover some fundamentals and how specific services help. We’ll cover the Azure Landing Zones hub and spoke pattern. We’ll then look at hub services, such as Firewall / NVA, Bastion, Private DNS Zones, Private DNS Resolver and DDOS protection plan. We’ll talk about Virtual Networks vs Virtual WAN. There will be a brief introduction to multi-cloud and on premise connectivity with ExpressRoute and VPN Gateways. We’ll cover Virtual Nertworks, Subnets, Peering and Route Tables for spokes. We’ll touch on Network Security Groups and monitoring. Then, we’ll jump into ingress, such as Front Door, Traffic Manager, Application Gateway and Load Balancer. There will be an overview of Private Endpoints and Service Connections. Finally we’ll touch on Azure Virtual Network Manager and the new capabilities there. There should be time for Q&A at the end.
