For our first Lee's Summit Personal Finance Discussion Group get-together, well start by sharing financial goals and have a simple talk about budgeting ideas and good financial practices. If you have some specific questions or ideas about your own situation, we can get into those also.

I am hosting this group to help people become comfortable with their financial decisions, not to sell anything. I am not a financial advisor. I am retired from a business career and just want to help facilitate ideas for neighbors looking for some money advice.

Our group will start small (7) to fit into a small room at the Library so no guests will be allowed.
