At last!

After a brief end-of summer hiatus and after taking our members thoughts, ideas and suggestions into account to plan the follow-up to last month's launch, we are ready to host our next event!

As the Fall season quickly approaches, many right-brainers are using this time to gear up for the contemplative season of winter that is upon us.

You may find yourself using this time to generate creative new business strategies while prepping and connecting with potential business collaborators at tailgating parties, holiday parties, etc.

In response, this event will focus on effective networking strategies that you will be able to apply when interacting and connecting with members of this Meetup group and beyond.

In this workshop/networking event you will learn tips and tools that will assist in making the most of your networking opportunities while capitalizing on your engaging personality, people skills and creative strengths.

You will also learn to take a more left-brained approach to networking by developing clear objectives and a well-thought-out strategic action plan and approach to networking opportunities.

Please join us in this fun and exciting evening of learning and networking where you will discover:

• How to prepare and deliver memorable, creative and engaging elevator pitches to make lasting impressions on potential partners and collaborators.

• How to use a "mixed medium" (ie..email, phone, text, Linked In, Facebook etc.) approach when following up on referrals to generate more rapid business results.

• How to determine and articulate what your goals are so that when you walk in the door of an event you know who to target, what to ask and what to offer in order to make effective contacts.

• How to translate your networking encounters into potential job opportunities, business partnerships, and potential clients.

EVENT ORGANIZER:

Samantha Peller- is a NY State Licensed and Board Certified Psychotherapist/Creative Arts Therapist with over 10 year of experience working in healthcare, education and creative industries. She is a former professional Musical Theater Actress with over 15 years experience on and off camera. She also previously worked as Film/TV/Commercial/Music Video Talent Agent helping cast for television shows such as The West Wing and films such as Head of State, Minority Report, The Recruit and more. As a budding entrepreneur, Samantha has started a small psychotherapy practice serving children and adults. She also recently participated in First Select Consulting's CMBA program where she trained with professionals from Top MBA programs and Fortune 500 companies while consulting small businesses and leading business and leadership presentations. Through this program, she has created three growing business ventures: Mogulistas NYC, Develop the Leader Within and Left-Brained Business Skills for Right-Brained People. She is eager help others grow their network by organizing events that connect talented, driven and creative men and women such as those joining Left-Brained Business Skills for Right Brained People.
