We will be checking out the Kulpreet Singh: Indelible Black Marks exhibition on its last day. The exhibition is an opportunity to learn more about the impact of climate change on farming in Punjab, India, and the wider Global South.

Event Plan:
We will meet at the front of the exhibition at around 4pm and then take a tour together. If you join us later, just drop us a comment/ message and we'll let you know where we are. We will try to stay together as a group during the tour but feel free to wander around by yourself if you wish to.

After the exhibition, we will gather at Jubilee Gardens, below the London Eye, for a discussion/ social where we can debrief the exhibition, relax in the green space, and get to know each other.

There is plenty of food and drinks available inside and around the Southbank Centre.
Please note the exhibition is free.

About the Exhibition:
Through an installation of film and paintings, Indian artist Kulpreet Singh draws upon his life as a farmer, choreographing the ritual of stubble-burning – the practice of setting fire to straw remnants to prepare the fields for a new crop cycle.
Together, the installation carries the physical and metaphorical traces of the land, recording its exploitation and foregrounding the resilience of those who tend to it.
This exhibition is presented as part of the RC Foundation Project Exhibition Series, with support from the RC Foundation, Taiwan (R.O.C.). Co-presented with the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Kulpreet Singh is a recipient of the Hayward Gallery/Kochi-Muziris Biennale (HG-KMB) Award, spotlighting emerging South Asian artists.
