LCC Autumn Walks ๐: Hampstead Heath Stroll
Details
Hampstead Heath is one of the most beautiful places to visit in London during autumn. We will be taking a stroll around the stretch of the park.
Event description and route:
Starting Point: We will meet outside Hampstead underground station and make our way to the Heath by 12:30pm at the latest. I will drop a location in the comments/ chat on the day to make it easier for attendees to find me.
Walk time; 2-2.5 hrs approx. (excluding breaks)
Weather: Expected to be clear skies with low chances of rain (fingers crossed)
Difficulty: Moderate, there will be some elevated paths but nothing particularly daunting.
We will take a circular route across the park passing through landmarks such as
- Parliament Hill
- Stone of Free Speech
- Ponds
- Kenwood Viewpoint
We will take pit stops at viewpoints to take in the views and any refreshments.
We recommend bringing plenty of water, good walking shoes/ hiking boots, and snacks if you wish.
Hampstead Heath has many cafes within and around it's premises (including near Parliament Hill) .
