Leftist Progressive Night Out

This is an event where anyone left of center can participate in tech projects, learn about technology, teach others, and build cool stuff! If you know electronics and computers, or know how to code, or just want to learn, you'll fit right in! We'll also discuss the role of technology experts in today's world, and how technology professionals can make a positive impact in the face of fascism and oppression. Let's put our skills to good use, while we make professional connections and good friends along the way!

For our first project, we're building a usable, offline, uncensored LLM chat program that can be stored on a USB. We're using the Lamma 3 model for our LLM. Or, if you have a better idea for a project, bring it up at the meeting and maybe we'll do that instead! Either way, come ready to learn and build something cool, unique, and useful.
