What we’re about

This is a nurturing space to explore and connect with your body, mind, and spirit via biweekly combined led Hatha yoga and live cello events. Whether you're a beginner or experienced yogi, the practice will be accessible for everyone, and all levels are welcome.

In a moderately challenging slow flow class (influenced by Vinyasa and Ashtanga practices), we will unwind, stretch, and strengthen with slow, calming, mindful breath-based movement with longer posture holds. We begin with a gentle warm-up sequence to prepare the body for the more dynamic and strengthening yoga poses. Depending on what the afternoon calls for, we’ll occasionally meditate or pick up the pace with an invigorating flow for part of the class.

To close the practice, you're invited to stay for a long extended savasana (30-45 min.) accompanied by live cello music.

Some events may include guided group chanting, meditation, or journaling and a light reception. All levels welcome.

Organizer and facilitator Annie Yeh is a certified yoga teacher (RYT Yoga Alliance) and distinguished Bay Area professional cellist. She founded Legato Cello Yoga, which seamlessly integrates her passion for yoga with her artistry as a cellist, recognizing that our body is our first instrument.
