Are you looking for (new) friends in Berlin? Monday is your place to be.

This event is for women only - let's do it again!
Why for women? Studies show: Best friends are usually made between people from same sex. Since this meetup is really about making friends, I sometime organize meetups for women and men separately.

Important hint: The beergarten ony takes cash 💸. It's Berlin, Baby.

The Flow of the Meetup
We meet in a very relaxed beer garden: Republik Berlin in Berlin Mitte. We chat, get to know each other and make plans to meet up again - if you want to.

Prepared Questions: Get to Know Easily
At the meetup, we have prepared questions cards to encourage conversations that go deeper and beyond small talk.

As one participant said: "It's exciting how quickly you can have good conversations. After an hour, I had the feeling that we had known each other for a long time."

One Recommendation for You:
For the full experience, please arrive at the meetup on time (19:30h).

Participants quickly become good acquaintances and if you arrive late, you might be the 5th wheel on the wagon. Being there at the beginning feels much better and nicer ;).

The Science of Friendship
Friends are surprisingly equal. Often it goes like that: Similar education, similar looks, similar taste in music, comparable neighbourhoods, comparable income, comparable cultural background. Maybe you know the saying: Birds of a feather flock together.

Yes, Berlin is the place to mix that all up - and that is for me the main beauty of Berlin - to get in touch with so many different influences.

Still, when it becomes to best friends, people tend to have their best friends comparable to themselves, and discover new influences together, or with less close friends and acquaintances.

So, if you look for new close friends, I would recommend to look for similar people at the meetup.
