Lego Power Up: functions & techniques of powered Lego machines workshop

Details

Interested in bringing your LEGO creations to life? Join us for a workshop that will cover the basics of adding lighting, movement, and control to your projects, including gearing and wiring. We’ll provide an overview of LEGO’s Powered Up line of products and LEGO’s legacy platform, called Power Functions, and we’ll summarize the pros and cons of each system. Bring one (or more!) of your powered creations to share, or bring a project that you want to power and we’ll offer suggestions for getting started. This session will be led by Case M., who is a member of Louisville Lego Heads. Case has been building with LEGO since he is 3 years old and he was a two-time FIRST LEGO League (youth robotics) Champion’s Award winner in the Southern California region. Event is free. Please RSVP or just pop-in to attend!
