LEGO Serious Play with Children: A Discovery Discussion

We will not run any actual LSP sessions in our limited time. This event is a round table discussion.

How effectively can LEGO Serious Play be done with children?

We've had a few members in education pose this question. So, I've invited those, along with our own certified facilitator, Lee Kim, who has facilitated a few sessions with children. And now I'm inviting you! If you've been wondering how LSP could work with children, please join us.

As with all of our sessions, this will be a small group to keep the discussion participatory and focused.

Tentative Agenda (flexible, depending on attendees and their wishes)

1. A very brief history of why LSP was created (specifically for business, and not for children) and what LSP is predicated on so we know what we are up against.
2. Share each of our own experiences with LSP and children (Lee, and anyone else who might have that experience)
3. Share what limitations there are/aren't for LSP with children, and with anyone overall
4. Share our own goals, if any, for LSP with children
5. If time permits (likely): ideate on how this could work
6. If time permits (unlikely): prototype/design a session

LSP was designed for the business setting, and therefore not for children. However, we'll take that as a challenge with an understanding that it may not, in the end, be possible. OR we may come up with something that is entirely new.
