About us
These sessions consist of a fun and hands-on introduction to LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and are ideal for those interested in participatory leadership, better communication, and creativity.
So what is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?
It is a methodology for facilitating meetings, communication, and problem-solving in which participants are led through a series of questions, probing deeper and deeper into the subject. Each participant builds their own 3D LEGO model using specially selected LEGO elements in response to the facilitator’s questions. These 3D models serve as a basis for group discussion, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Based on extensive research, this hands-on, mind-on learning process produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY deepens the reflection process and supports effective dialogue—for everyone in the organization all while harnessing the power of play.
During these two-hour taster sessions led by an experienced facilitator, participants will explore building models as individuals and as a group. You will practice several methods of communication (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic) and learn to hear and understand others, all using LEGO!
Following the workshop, you will receive a free PDF copy of the book "Serious Work: How to Facilitate Meetings & Workshops Using the LEGO Serious Play Method, a 5-star reviewed book that sells for $30 on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Serious-Work-Facilitate-Meetings-Workshops/dp/B094T39DVX?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER).
