The LSP Meetup group was started May 2024 for people who are interested in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology, based on the belief that everyone can contribute to the discussion, the decisions and the outcome.
We will begin with a fun, hands-on introduction, ideal for those who have not experienced the method before. LEGO will be supplied. There will be opportunities for experimentation and exploring different themes: Team Building, Readiness for Change.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is an innovative process which combines visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic learning styles into a single creative approach to solving wicked problems.
Using metaphor and storytelling to drive new insights, is what gives LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® its power.
Change the process… change the outcome.
To thrive in today’s fast paced workplace, individuals need to learn to think and act creatively by playing, collaborating, and testing boundaries (Reznick, 2017). The ability to be creative is noted as a top trait for emerging and successful leaders.

Introduction to LSP - Building the Dream Team -
In Wellington City - venue TBC, Wellington, NZWe all have needs as human beings, we will be exploring the 6 Human Needs (inspired by Tony Robbins). There is a little homework required, prior to the session please complete this short free quiz by SFWalker [Six Human Needs]
We will explore a simple yet powerful exercise to spark curiosity, help visualize the different needs we have as individuals in a team and to have dialogues about what needs are most important to each of us.

This meetup session is ideal for groups to explore the basic application techniques of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. We will explore building 3D models of ideas and concepts as an individual and as a group. The real value of Lego Serious Play is the act of model-making, the process of giving shape to our thinking, surfacing assumptions, and creating a shared language. You will become familiar with several methods of communication and learn to hear and understand others, all using LEGO!
