An engaging, hands on introduction to LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, ideal for those who have not experienced the method before.

The focus of this meetup will be an introduction to systems builds, creating a landscape and exploring connections.

The underlying principles grounded in how human cognition works:

  • what you build with your hands reflects what you know,
  • what you explain to others consolidates and expands that knowledge,
  • what you create together enables systems thinking that verbal discussion rarely achieves,

The real value of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, is the act of model-making, the process of giving shape to our thinking, surfacing assumptions, and creating a shared language.

Future meetups will explore systems thinking in more detail. This session will be the start of that adventure.

What you will get out of this:

  • Expand your personal network & make meaningful connections
  • Engage in interesting topics & discussions
  • Develop your empathy & listening skills
  • Release stress & have fun!

Ideal for those who are interested in participatory leadership, better communication and creativity. If you are curious about the tool and want to know more, this MeetUp is for you.

The Creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect, but by the play instinct.
~ Carl Jung
