Sunday 1st June: 21.5 miles from Snettisham

Richard is leading the June Legstretcher.

The walk is on Sunday 1st June at 9.30am & it's 21.5 miles.

Richard says it is a walk that takes in beautiful north west Norfolk countryside. The route goes through Snettisham country park, Ken Hill marsh to Heacham & Hunstanton. Returning via Ringstead Downs to Snettisham.

Meet by the children's play area.

PLEASE NOTE do not go to Hall Farm which is much further along Church Road.

Please arrive with plenty of time as the Legstretchers always start promptly on time.

The walk is limited to 25, but please put your name down on the waiting list if it fills.

MESSAGE FROM GROUP CO-ORDINATORS

Welcome to a Legstretcher walk. We're a friendly & welcoming group. We're keen to recruit anyone who wants to walk longer distances.
The group isn't intended to be overly serious & although our walk leaders are professional we want to remain a fun group. We're also keen on inclusion.
Bear in mind that we offer longer walks. You must make sure you bring enough to eat & drink (hydration is important).
Remember 18 miles isn't easy for someone new to walking so make sure you're comfortable walking 17 miles at a good pace (3.5mph ie 7 miles in 2 hours).
You'll need to join Ramblers after you've come on 3 Ramblers' walks.
