Heather will be leading the June Legstretcher.

The walk is on Sunday 7th June & it's 17.5 miles.

Heather says it is a lovely varied walk taking in the beautiful seaside towns of Aldeburgh, quirky Thorpeness, Friston & Snape. The walk will be along beaches, through heathlands, woods & reed estuary; taking parts of the Sailors & the Suffolk coast paths.

Heather says there are two small stretches of overgrowth. However on the reccy at the weekend she managed fine in shorts.

A MESSAGE FROM GROUP CO-ORDINATORS
Welcome to a Legstretcher walk. We're a friendly & welcoming group. We're keen to recruit anyone who wants to walk longer distances.
The group isn't intended to be overly serious & although our walk leaders are professional we want to remain a fun group. We're also keen on inclusion.
Bear in mind that we offer longer walks. You must make sure you bring enough to eat & drink (hydration is important).
Remember 18 miles isn't easy for someone new to walking so make sure you're comfortable walking 17 miles at a good pace (3.5mph ie 7 miles in 2 hours).
You'll need to join Ramblers after you've come on 3 Ramblers' walks.
If you have any questions message us on either maria-belle-montagne@outlook.com or stephenandjanet@btinternet.com
