Singles Event - 20's & 30's

PLEASE READ: Hey guys, not sure what the demand for 20's and 30's events are. I'm setting this up as a FAKE / ADVERTISING EVENT to get the word out. Please sign up if you are interested but do not show up anywhere (scheduled for 2am on purpose)! If good numbers start signing up, I will start creating real events.
FORMAT: I'm going to use the wait-list feature to allow me to prevent a gender imbalance (and dont worry, Meetup+ members wont get priority). We will meet at a pavilion at Cedar Beach to hang out, play games, and get to know each other. No uncomfortable speed dating, gamification, or anything like that. The first step is just getting comfortable hanging out and talking to other singles. We can have these regularly enough that my hope is you can get to know everyone and that will eliminate guys over asking out. It sounds like most women have "being asked out" fatigue, so wait until she is showing interest first. I will be going around trying to facilitate connections and breakup gender groups if necessary. I've also been considering wrist bands and surveys...

BEHIND THE SCENES: I know you guys probably aren't up to speed on what's happening in behind the scenes and some of these public facing events and decisions may seem confusing. The main reason I started this group was for 20-30's singles event, something the old group said they were unwilling to allow. I had no intention of competing with them in any way and it's an awfully strange coincidence that they have suddenly started using the same pavilion and having singles events so feel free to take full credit for that. I considered shutting down the group, but after a few of you requested that I keep it open, I will see if we can make this a reality. So if you don't want to go to a singles event with ladies over 70, tell your friends about this group! They might have the quantity, but we are going to have the quality.
