Bird walk at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center to see a variety of local breeding birds. Blue Grosbeaks have nested in the area in recent years.

Why join this walk: We will look at and listen to many breeding birds. The chance of seeing and photographing some of them well is there. The view from the path over the river is stunning. While scouting for this trip I did not see any Blue Grosbeaks but here (http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S23901870) is what we might see.

Difficulty: Low-medium. We will walk less than two miles on gravel paths. Short sections will be steep or be challenging for someone with vertigo. It is summer so the risk of hot and humid weather is high. Dress accordingly and bring water.

If you want, you can continue on to the optics demo (https://www.meetup.com/Lehigh-Valley-Audubon-Society/events/223240954/) at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center afterwards.
