Field Trip: Round Valley / Oberly Rd in NJ
Hosted by Lehigh Valley Audubon Society
Details
There are a set of lakes in western New Jersey just across the Pennsylvania border that hosts a lot of winter birds. Depending on the weather we can come across ducks, gulls, and sparrows. Nearby is Oberly Rd with grassy fields that sometimes host Rough-legged Hawks and other field birds. Duration will vary depending on the birds and the weather but prior trips have been back mid afternoon.
Contact Mark if you would like to meet the group at the Rt33 park&ride instead. Meeting time would be approximately 8AM in that case.
