Field Trip to Great Swamp NWR

Heading to Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in Morris County, NJ. We will walk approximately 3 miles, on boardwalks and paths, through beautiful hardwood swamp and marsh. We will hope to see or hear a variety of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies.

We will meet at the Bethlehem park and ride on William Penn Highway. Car pooling is expected; if you would like to ride, then be prepared to chip in for gas, if you prefer to drive, then make sure there is a full tank of gas in your car.

Bring drinks, snacks, lunch, and whatever else you think you might need.
