Lehigh Valley Beemers - A BMW MOA Chapter

This is a private meetup group for Lehigh Valley Beemers members.

We are a BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (MOA) Chapter.  If you live within specific zip codes in Eastern Pennsylvania, and you are a BMWMOA member, you are automatically enrolled in the chapter.  No additional dues besides your annual MOA membership fees are required.

Lehigh Valley Beemer Chapter Members are sent invitations and approved into this Meetup Group where we schedule rides and events for members. A separate Meetup User ID and Password is required.

If you are in an existing MOA Charter Club, that's ok, you can continue to ride with them and this chapter costs you nothing more than your BMW MOA dues and you can engage in club rides and activities as you like.

We plan and schedule club day-rides and trips from April through November-ish, and have at least monthly breakfast meetings year-round.  We are looking at holding an annual picnic and a beginning of the year celebration to kick off the new riding season.  We also offer an informative, brilliantly written bi-monthly newsletter (Call of the Road).  Our ride and event schedule is in MEETUP (www.meetup.com).  Lehigh Valley Beemers BMW Motorcycle Riders (LVBBMWR) | Meetup

Goals of the Club:

• Provide a fun, friendly, and safe environment for riders of ALL levels of experience, men and women.

• Enjoy safe riding so everyone gets home safely. We urge riders to wear protective gear - All the Gear, All the Time (ATGATT).

Among the benefits of being a member:

• Group rides on some of the best roads in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, and surrounding states.  Rides may be on-road or off-road and are led by excellent riders. We plan and take National and International trips as well.
• We ride to the annual BMWMOA National Rally in mid-June each year.  The Rally is an opportunity to ride the best roads to and from the Rally Site, to meet others riders from all over the U.S., to enjoy great food, listen to live music, and enjoy local day rides.  It is also an opportunity to volunteer to help during the Rally, working alongside fellow members.
• Social gatherings with fellow riders, whether it is a breakfast meeting or a ride to lunch.
• Sponsored motorcycle safety training classes.
• A directory of club members. Search the directory for members in your zip code or your general area and create your own group of local riding buddies.  See the google map below for where you can find our club members.
• Access to the Club's on-line forum to meet fellow riders, discuss technical issues or trade/sell/buy motorcycle parts or gear.
• We are building a full Ride Library of GPX files and maps of routes throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states noted for their scenery or for the twisty mountain roads.
