Start/End: Ricky Park, (5875 Ricky Ridge Trail, Orefield, PA) an Upper Macungie park between Clauser Rd and Ricky Ridge Trail (about 1 mile north from Tilghman St, between 100 & 309). We will meet/start/finish at the Ricky Park parking lot (entrance from Clauser Rd). The park is within two miles of Tilghman Street after exiting the Kuhnsville exit, 22 westbound. Sleep in, set your clocks ahead, let temps rise to near 60. We'll head north through Neffs & Newside, returning south through state Game Lands on Kistler road, a favorite, flowing descent. Route from RideWithGPS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54173150
Let's ride at a B- (14-ish mph) pace over this 28m course with some hills (2000ft). But it's the first Spring Forward day, we can do it!
Always wear a helmet, sign-in with me (Paul) providing emergency contact numbers (you, fam.), before we depart. If a LVCC member, this provides you supplementary health coverage traveling to, riding on, traveling home from the ride. If new to LVCC, you are also covered on your first ride, consider joining so you acquire this additional benefit for all rides with us.
After sign-in, I'll cover a couple group ride norms, our club follows, before we start off. Hope you can join!
