Monthly Club Meeting - Cycling Injuries
Details
Intro of our two speakers:
OAA Sports Medicine Dr. Michael Krafczyk and Physical Therapist Joel Ninos have a very close Physician/Therapist relationship that ensures the best care for patients. Additionally, they
have decades of experience in treating the injuries of cyclists.
Dr. Michael Krafczyk enjoys helping patients return to their sport and has a keen interest in treating endurance athletes, especially cyclists. Having been an athlete himself, he understands
the drive to get back at it, but prioritizes care, rest, and rehabilitation.
Joel Ninos, PT, has over 30 years of experience specializing in Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation. He has also had the opportunity to rehabilitate 19 Olympic cyclists, in addition to
thousands of high school and college athletes. Joel also has experience with bike fitting and has the unique ability to perform a physical exam and ensure the bike fits the body, instead of forcing
the body to fit the bike.
