I've had my eye on this movie for some time now after stumbling across the trailer on YouTube. It is a dark comedy that stars Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, and Christopher Lloyd and tells the true story of a parapsychologist who investigates tales of a talking mongoose named Gef living in the Isle of Man.

To make a very long story short, I got in contact with one of the production companies for the film, and now will have the opportunity to host a Meetup event for them! Their name is Legion M and they have a number of fans in the area that they'll put the word out to in the hopes that they'll join us to check out this premiere. To help build excitement and promote the new movie, they will be sending me some fun swag to hand out to all attendees before the show!

The film is getting a very limited theatrical release, and currently only 25 theaters are lined up to screen it as it opens. Philly was lucky enough to be one of the cities on the list, so this event will be held at AMC Neshaminy in Bensalem, PA. That's a little bit of a journey from the Lehigh Valley (around an hour without traffic), but it is what it is.

Dinner is TBD and will depend on the interest of those who RSVP. We can talk more about that closer to the date. For now, a quick yes or no in the comments would help me gauge that. Thanks in advance!
