Did you ever wonder how pilots flew in clouds, found their destination and landed in bad weather?

How pilots fly in bad weather is largely an invisible topic in society, but it is critical to the 2 ½ million people on 29,000 flights that fly on commercial airlines each day in the US. It is rather interesting to find out how it is done. It cannot be a haphazard process where pilots take a lot of risk to keep passengers safe. It is a well-designed and disciplined process that always gets people to their destinations without failure. That’s our topic for this session though we also plan to explain how Navy carrier pilots land on aircraft carriers and maybe other stories, too.
Note> Fatal commercial airline crashes are extremely rare in the United States, happening less than once a year on average. [Less than once in 10.5 million flights in the US-(29,000x365)]
