Two-day class for recreational boaters, with an additional day trip on the water for the group as part of the fun. With certified instructors as your guides, we cover useful topics such as; types and parts of a kayak, paddles and how to choose one, and transporting a kayak safely. We teach you safety on the water, different strokes and when to use them, and why to wear certain kinds of clothing, and when. We will put you in your boats to enjoy your new knowledge, with instructors present to give you the confidence to try new things. You will make new friends to paddle with in the future and find club trips you can join as you grow in the sport. (Club has some loaner equipment)
