The Lehigh Valley Psychedelic Society is partnering with curandero, Kevin Stevralia, to offer education and an opportunity to try Sananga medicine. We will gather at Creative Spirit in Easton PA on Friday, July 26th at 7pm.
Kevin will share the history, use, and benefits of Sananga eye drops from both a spiritual and physical perspective. Participants will gain knowledge about this medicinal plant and how to incorporate it into their own personal practices. At the end of the talk, there will be an opportunity for participants to try the eyedrops under Kevin’s supervision, a trained facilitator.
About Sananga:
Traditionally, sananga was used as a hunting tool to sharpen vision before going into the jungle. As most hunting was done at dusk, sananga increases night vision while also providing general sharpness and increased clarity. As a medicine, sananga is believed to treat an array of issues in the eyes, including astigmatism, cataracts, glaucoma, myopia, and hyperopia. It further flushes the eyes providing an intense cleansing and relief of allergic reactions affecting the eyes. Spiritually, sananga opens inner vision, providing enhanced intuition and perception. Sananga is often used in combination or in preparation for working with other plant medicines, and can increase the visionary aspect of these other plants, while also assisting in the perceptive ability to understand the messages in the visions, and opening the third eye.
About Kevin:
Kevin is an initiated curandero and shamanic healer in the Shipibo and Toltec lineages. He works as an integration specialist, with a focus on bridging modern science with ancient wisdom. He achieves this balance by combining his shamanic training with his master’s degree in experimental neuroscience.
