The Experience:
Your adventure begins as you launch into the beautiful Lehigh River, where calm, scenic water carries you gently downstream through one of Pennsylvania's most historic landscapes.

It’s a slow adventure through nature, history, and discovery.

The river here is calm and beginner-friendly, but alive enough to remind you that you're truly outdoors. Gentle waves and moving current add just enough excitement to keep the paddle fun — without any rapids or technical paddling required.

Along the way, we sometimes explore one of the quiet creeks that feed into the river. For a few minutes, we paddle upstream — yes, “up a creek” — discovering hidden corners of the river that most visitors never see.

As you move along the river, you’re surrounded by wildlife. It’s common to see turtles sunning on rocks, deer along the shoreline, ducks and geese drifting nearby, and the graceful blue heron gliding across the water. Keep your camera handy because If you’re lucky, you might even spot the occasional bald eagle soaring above the river valley.

Wildlife, tree-lined riverbanks, and open sky surround you as the story of Bethlehem unfolds.

You’ll paddle beneath the iconic Bethlehem Steel Stacks, where we capture a photo of your group — a signature keepsake from your day on the river.

The Return:
Pedal the D&L Trail
Swap your kayak for a mountian bike and enjoy a 45-minute ride along the flat scenic Delaware & Lehigh Trail.

Tree-lined river views, historic locktender's houses, and an easy ride make this one of the most relaxing and beautiful trails in Pennsylvania.
