About us
Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club's Meetup Calendar. Here we list our cycling events, and some non-cycling fun as well. Our recreational, social rides are available at various paces and will take you mostly around the counties of Lehigh and Berks. We are blessed to experience the beauty that makes up this part of Pennsylvania.
While we are happy to see so many take an interest in our Ride Calendar, following here does not grant LVCC membership. We would be thrilled to have you all become dues paying LVCC members! Here are some of the benefits:
* We offer a full schedule of road and off-road rides for all levels.
* Insurance coverage for uncovered expenses if involved in a LVCC ride incident
* Grill 'n' Chill rides during the riding season and Annual Picnic
* Annual Holiday Party
* Overnight/weekend cycling trips
* Last but not least, LVCC is host to the now-famous Donut Derby!
Please see our website www.lvcycling.club for more information and contact info.
Keep up to date with our "Latest News" linked from the menu on the site.

Moselem Springs Loop ~ 15 mph
Bob Rodale Cycling & Fitness Park, Mosser Road, Breinigsville, PA, USNancy and I will be leading a ride from the Rodale Parking lot to Moselem Springs and back. We'll follow the LVCC's standard route which is ~38 miles with 1100 ft of vertical. Since this is a tandem friendly route, I expect our average speed will be ~15-16 mph (slower going out and a little faster on the return). However, we'll have a ride sweeper, so we don't lose anyone along the way. Faster riders are welcome.... we'll see you at Sheetz.
There will be a rest stop (~mile 19) @ Sheetz to fuel up prior to returning to T-town.
Here's the link to the standard LVCC route: Velo to Moselem Springs - Flat Ride · Ride with GPS
We'll follow LVCC safety protocals.... helmets are definitely required.
Hope to see you on Friday.
