What we’re about
Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Cycling Club's Meetup Calendar. Here we list our cycling events, and some non-cycling fun as well. Our recreational, social rides are available at various paces and will take you mostly around the counties of Lehigh and Berks. We are blessed to experience the beauty that makes up this part of Pennsylvania.
While we are happy to see so many take an interest in our Ride Calendar, following here does not grant LVCC membership. We would be thrilled to have you all become dues paying LVCC members! Here are some of the benefits:
* We offer a full schedule of road and off-road rides for all levels.
* Bike shop discounts
* Insurance coverage for uncovered expenses if involved in a LVCC ride incident
* Monthly Grill 'n' Chill and annual Picnic
* Annual Holiday Party
* Overnight/weekend cycling trips
* Last but not least, LVCC is host to the now-famous Donut Derby!
Please see our website lvcycling.club for more information and contact info.
Keep up to date with our "Latest News" LVCC blog, linked from the main menu on the site.

See all- Wednesday morning virtual ride with RouvyLink visible for attendees
Alas, looks like another soggy day, so I will probably do this route at 10 if anyone else is interested. If you are, please RSVP, or I may decide to ride solo earlier, or later.
This is a recurring LVCC virtual ride, at 10 am every Wednesday during the Fall & Winter season. If you RSVP to this ride and see an announcement of an outside LVCC ride on the same day, please check the attendees list below to see if others, including the ride host, have opted to ride outdoors instead. I will make comment if I am not doing this virtual ride, but not delete in case someone else wants to take the lead.

If you have previously participated in virtual rides using Rouvy and Discord, you know what to do. If you are new to this, then your first step should be to read this document: LVCC Virtual RidesEach week, I will publish in this Meetup, the name of the Rouvy ride that we will use. Launch the Rouvy application and search for this route. When the ride page appears, choose “Just Ride”. After waiting for it to load, you’ll see the start line, with your bike and avatar.
When you start pedaling, as soon as you see your avatar start to move, hit the pause button (“||”), at the upper right hand corner of the screen. As other riders enter, you’ll see a list of them on the left side of the screen. When everyone is ready, the ride host will announce the start of the ride, just as they would on an in-person ride.
If you plan to connect to the other riders using Discord, you should do this before joining the Rouvy ride, as Rouvy only runs in full screen mode or join Discord on a separate device like a smart phone or tablet. Join the LVCC Discord room and click on the voice channel “LVCC Ride #1” to join the chat. (Detailed instructions on how to do this here, in item#2
