Beginners Road Ride ~16 miles, ~ 13 mph

Let's meet at the Trexlertown Velodrome parking lot for a ~16-mile road ride into Berks County. This ride is geared to riders who are new to group cycling or just more casual cyclists.

The focus of this ride is on safety, group cycling etiquette, communication, bike fit and all aspects of proper bike handling skills.
We'll ride ~ 13 mph ......meaning sometimes faster on downhills and slower on inclines. Arrive 15 minutes early for a 5-point bike check.

Before joining this ride, you should be able to complete a 15 mi ride in ~ 70 minutes. A road bike & helmet are required.
Please make sure your bike is in good working order (e.g. tires and brakes are in good condition, tires are properly inflated, etc.)

Ride starts @ the Velodrome parking lot by the Red Barn.
