It is strongly recommended that you go online and purchase your pass as soon as they go on sale. There are a limited number available and they usually sell out in a day or two. Keep in mind that Bike New York will not refund your fee, and your pass is not transferable.

What?
The TD Five Boro Bike Tour offers 32,000 cyclists the opportunity to bike through all five boroughs–Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island–on streets totally free of traffic. The event is co-produced by Bike New York and the New York City Department of Transportation.

Why?
Proceeds from the TD Five Boro Bike Tour fund Bike New York’s free bike education classes; last year, they taught over 15,000 New Yorkers how to ride safely and confidently. Plus, there’s no better way to experience the Big Apple than by bike. For one day, the roads are yours, the bridges are yours, the city is yours.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Bag Restrictions: No bags with shoulder straps (including backpacks and hydration packs), no panniers or bags that hang on the side of your bike, no covered baskets, and no bags over 420 cubic inches.

This year, we will charter one bus to transport everyone from Genesis to New York and back. The cost of transportation will be split amongst the riders. This cost will still be far less expensive and more convenient than driving to NYC on your own (tolls, parking, traffic). A meal and beverage will be included in the transportation price. The cost is $80 per person.

We will be leaving promptly at 4 am. Be sure that if you say you are traveling with us by bus, that you will follow through.

Transportation Payment can be made by check to Genesis Bicycles. Please Note: There are no refunds for bus costs. The price is determined by the amount of passengers, so please be sure you are definitely traveling with us before confirming transportation. Once you are registered for the Tour, submit your payment for transportation as soon as possible.

Remember, this is an extremely popular event, and spaces are limited, so register as soon as you can.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR YOUR EVENT REGISTRATION ON YOUR OWN. Once you have purchased your ticket AND have confirmation from the Bike NY organization that you have been accepted for the ride, let Erin know. We will then need your confirmation information so that a proxy can pick up your packet. More details on that as we get closer to the event.
