Join us for Diwali Day in Leicester, home to one of the largest Diwali celebrations outside India. We will explore the festivities together, enjoy street food and sweets, and see the Golden Mile illuminations after dark.

At Leicester 20s to 40s, we enjoy celebrating the many cultures that make our city what it is. Diwali is a huge part of Leicesterโ€™s identity, and this is a great chance to experience it together.

๐Ÿ“… Date: Sunday 8th November
๐Ÿ•• Time: 6:00pm
๐Ÿ› Food and stalls: Please bring cash or a card
๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Footwear: Comfortable shoes are recommended, as there will be a lot of walking and standing
๐Ÿงฅ Clothing: Please dress warmly, as evenings are cold in November
๐Ÿš— Parking: Parking near Belgrave Road is limited on the day, so we suggest parking further out or taking the bus or taxi
๐ŸŽ’ Bags: Please travel light, as the area becomes very busy
