Discover the wonderful craft of Indian block printing in this hands-on creative workshop.

The tutor will show us how to create beautiful designs using traditional printing blocks and colour. We’ll have fabric to practice on and then we’ll go on to printing tea towels, a smaller fabric item such as a drawstring bag plus greetings cards and tags.

By the end of the workshop, we’ll take home our own beautifully crafted items, which you can give to someone as a gift or keep for yourself.

What’s included:
Practice fabric
Stationery items - cards, envelopes and tags
Tea towel
A small fabric item (such as a zip pouch or drawstring bag)

PARKING Street Parking is available around the venue. There are also two small car parks, with free parking for 4 hours. John Street (LE19 4LE) midway along. King Street (LE19 4NT) next to the civic centre and library.
