It certainly is a good time of year for great film releases. And I'm sure this film will be great.
It tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece, Hamlet.
Having read the book I am really looking forward to watching and discussing it.

Synopsis:
Adapted by Maggie O’Farrell from her own acclaimed 2020 novel, Chloé Zhao’s (Nomadland) heart-rending historical drama follows the relationship of William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes, from their first meeting to the tragic death of their son.

Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley give stunning lead performances, with Emily Watson and Joe Alwyn rounding out a superb cast in this sublime, Oscar-tipped tale imagining the tragic origins of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
