Rental Family sounds like an interesting concept (and true, particularly in Japan).
The film explores themes of loneliness and belonging, and the humanity found in unexpected connections.
Sounds like it could be a good one to watch, and discuss.

Synopsis:
Phillip Vanderpleog (Fraser), an American actor in Tokyo who is struggling to find purpose, lands a gig working for a Japanese “rental family” agency which hires actors to fill social roles for clients in real life situations.
Rental family services have been offered in Japan since the 1990s, and for Phillip the job offers unexpected meaning and connection. However, the lines between what is real and what is a performance become blurred as he becomes increasingly involved in the lives of his clients.
