- We are not just intelligent creatures, but also verbal, emotional, creative, curious, moral and religious creatures. What can we learn about ourselves by looking at this through an artificial lens – from artificial intelligence to artificial anything that makes us human? In this talk I will discuss a wide range of research projects that broadly fit with this team, and also share more about AI research & education at Leiden University.
17:30 Speaker 2: Yusuf Hasan: Unpaired Image to Image Translation Using Depthwise Separable Convolutional Cycle Generative Adversarial Networks
- This project aimed to enhance CycleGAN efficiency for faster training, inference and/or lower memory requirements while maintaining image quality by utilizing findings from MobileNet(V2). The project was driven by Yusuf's robotics research at Tilburg University AI for Robotics lab.

Yusuf Hasan is a graduate of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University. He is currently doing an Artificial Intelligence Internship at DataPebbles.
