Moderate - Hike: ~12KM - Elsterperlenweg - Neumühle to Greiz

Let's hike along the Elster river.

Some more rules in addition to general group rules:

• Only sign up if you are sure about your attendance.
• People who've been "no-show" at previous events will only be allowed to join if they request the day before by messaging me given there are free spots available.
• People with multiple no-shows will not be allowed to sign up for the event.
• If you are in the waiting list please wait patiently for your turn, having a ticket does not entitle you to skip the waiting list.

Route:
We will start from Neumühle , hiking along the Elster river all the way to Greiz.

Meeting Point/Journey:
We will meet at Leipzig Hbf Platform 8 at 09:45, and take RE 8 leaving at 09:53, arriving in Neumühle at 11:36 after switching in Gera Hbf.

Ticket Information:
Depending on number of people joining and those who need the ticket can share the Sachsen Ticket costing 62€ for 5 people. We buy ticket in the morning so please arrive on time. Deutschland-Ticket is also valid for the connection.

Recommended things to bring:
Please make sure you wear appropriate clothes for the weather and comfortable outdoor hiking shoes, and also carry enough water and snacks/food for yourself. Bring loose cash for sharing the ticket.

Return:
The ending time is a rough estimate only and may change depending on how fast or slow we complete the hike. There are hourly regional trains from Greiz that take us back to Leipzig through Gera. The plan is to take RB4 at 16:14 to arrive in Leipzig by 18:05.
