Moderate - Hike: ~15KM - Dornburg Castle and Panoramic hike on Saale Horizontale

Next weekend we hike in Dornburg on the Saale Horizontale Stage 6 route.

Some more rules in addition to general group rules:

• Only sign up if you are sure about your attendance.
• People who've been "no-show" at previous events will only be allowed to join if they request the day before by messaging me given there are free spots available.
• People with multiple no-shows will not be allowed to sign up for the event.
• If you are in the waiting list please wait patiently for your turn, there is capacity limit for a reason.

Route:
We will start in Dornburg, hiking along Saale Horizontale route and ending in Jena Zwatzen train station to go back.

Meeting Point/Journey:
We will meet on Leipzig Hbf Platform 7 at 08:50, and take S6 leaving at 09:06, we switch trains in Naumburg and arriving at 10:22 in Dornburg.

Ticket Information:
Depending on number of people joining and those who need the ticket can share the Sachsen Ticket costing 65€ for 5 people. We buy ticket in the morning so please arrive on time. Deutschland-Ticket is also valid for the connection. If you are someone who needs to buy a ticket and share Sachsen Ticket with other participants, please let us know in the comments.

Recommended things to bring:
Please make sure you wear appropriate clothes for the weather and comfortable outdoor hiking shoes, and also carry enough water and snacks/food for yourself. Bring loose cash for sharing the ticket.

Return:
The ending time is a rough estimate only. There are many regional trains from Jena Zwatzen that take us back to Leipzig. The plan is to take RB 25 at 16:28 from Jena Zwatzen and arrive in Leipzig by 17:52.

Donations:
Hikes in this group are free to join, and will remain free to join for everyone, but to cover for the costs related to Meetup Organization; at the end of the hike I want to encourage participants to donate based on how much you are able to and how much value you get out of the experience (minimum 1 and maximum 5 euros). This will allow me to keep this group active and continue organizing hikes.
