👋 Hello and welcome to the 5th Leipzig.js meetup 🥳! This time we will have a hot topic from Stephan Hoyer who first was one of the founder of the leipzig.js user group years ago. the talk will be about using plain old JavaScript with a framework called Mithril.js.

Wie baut man eine moderne Webapp, die in 10 Jahren kaum umgebaut werden musste?
Bei tutory.de setzen wir auf bewährte Prinzipien: funktionalen Code, API-Stabilität und kleine, verständliche Werkzeuge statt immer neue Frameworks oder Versionen davon.

In diesem Vortrag zeige ich, wie wir mit Mithril.js, unserem eigenen Data-Layer (modelz.js), einem immutablen ORM und einem simplen i18n-System eine langlebige Architektur geschaffen haben – ganz ohne Hooks, Klassen oder andere Magie auskommt.

Stephan Hoyer is Softwaredeveloper since 2010. He worked for
Unister (PHP, JS), Netresearch (PHP, JS). He is also a Freelancer (Python, PHP, JS) and co-founder of tutory.de (since 2016). He is also
Core-Dev of mithril.js, mithril-node-render and mithril-query, translate.js, modelz which is all Open Source. He says, that he is a mithril.js-Evangelist.
