The Croydon Photography Forum welcomes Croydon-based visual storyteller Jojo Adeyemo for an evening exploring photography, creativity and the simple art of slowing down and noticing what is around us.
Jojo’s work explores the relationship between people, nature and place.

Through landscape photography, he creates images that invite us to pause, look a little deeper and find our own meaning within a scene. His work makes thoughtful use of light, composition and negative space, with nature becoming not simply something to photograph, but a space for reflection, curiosity and connection.

Jojo is also the founder of Wild London Photo Walks, where he leads guided photography walks designed to help people connect with nature, creativity and community through mindful exploration.

During the evening, Jojo will share some of his photography, talk about his approach to visual storytelling and explore how we can become more intentional about what we see before we even press the shutter.

We will also have our cash raffle on the night, with tickets at £2 each or three for £5. One lucky winner will take home a print of one of Jojo’s images, so you could arrive looking for photographic inspiration and leave with a piece of his work for your wall.

As always, the Croydon Photography Forum is open to everyone. You don’t need to be a professional photographer, own an expensive camera or know your aperture from your elbow. If you enjoy photography, want to improve, or simply enjoy seeing how other people view the world, you’ll be very welcome.

Come along, meet other photographers and creatives from across Croydon, learn something new and spend an evening looking at the world through a slightly different lens.
