Tennessee Valley – Short Loop

This 5-mile hike has about 700’ elevation gain. We’ll hike up a wide trail to the ridge, descend with views of the coastline, and detour for a short stop at the beach. Hopefully the fog will burn off and it will be a sunny afternoon. If there's interest, we can go out to an early dinner, at Cafe del Soul or elsewhere nearby, afterwards.

Planned Route: Tennessee Valley > Fox > Coastal > Tennessee Valley

Getting there:
• From 101 in Marin County, take the Mill Valley / Stinson Beach / Hwy 1 exit
• Follow Shoreline Hwy west until you see the Tennessee Valley Road sign, then turn Left and drive to the end of the road.
• Meet at the picnic tables. There are restrooms at the trailhead.
