Jersey City Pride Festival 2022 - Saturday, August 27 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Hi girls
We are going to the Jersey City Pride Festival and will be meeting at the City Hall by Grove St. If you are planning to go and join us I ask you to please be on time. We will be there by 12:30 pm but the parade starts at 1:00 pm. If you arrive later than 1:00 pm most likely we will not be there. Closer to the event l will send a new reminder.

“Join us as we march on our newly extended route for the 21st Anniversary LGBTQ+ Pride Festival Pride Equality March. Assembly for the march starts at noon at City Hall and begins at 1PM sharp. We will march up Grove Street from City Hall to the Grove PATH Plaza and then up Newark Avenue to our main stage at Erie and Jersey. The march is the kick-off to the Festival and is our moment as a community to show our diversity and strength. While we have made much progress and enjoy the benefits of living in a progressive city, many still suffer worldwide from homophobia and sexual orientation discrimination. We will be marching for equality for all so come on out and show your Pride. Let’s send a message to the world that we will not rest as a community until all LGBTQ+ people are treated with dignity and respect.”
